Latest Cars 2011: Bumblebee Camaro limousine  Launched | Pinnacle Limousine Manufacturing has just launched a dream limousine in the flesh of the Bumblebee Camaro. The limo has some amazing features in order to blow you away, like the Lambo doors for the driver and gull wing-doors for the passengers. The limo pleases all Transformers fans with the Transformer’s Autobot symbol in the front.

“Like any limousine out there, the actual real deal is inside the car and the Bumblebee Camaro makes no exception. The interior is absolutely space-age like and can easily accommodate 12 people. The walls and ceiling panels are mirrored and there are a couple of DVD screens to make sure you won’t get bored. Furthermore, lasers and fiber-optic lighting systems complement the space-age look. It comes also with a lot of serious entertainment tools such as CD stereo, iPod and MP3 capabilities, not to mention a full beverage bar to ensure a pleasant time”

We must not forget that this limo still is a Camaro and that means performance. We don’t know exactly what engine is under the hood, but a standard Camaro power plant will be enough. The standard model has a V6-engine that develops 312 hp and offers a mileage of 29mpg (8,1 l/100 km) on the highway, thanks to a six speed automatic transmission. For more power, the SS comes with a 6.2 litre V8-engine that produces 426-Hp, with mileage resting at 24mpg (9.8 l/100 km) on the highway.

You don’t have to worry about comfort either, because leather upholstery is present all over the place. The limo can be rented out in Van Nuys, in California, so we guess there will be at least a few people that would want to make an impression on some events they plan to attend.

The mean ‘Stang is powered by a 5.0l liter engine, which is based on the one used by the Mustang GT. The unit has been tweaked to develop 440 hp and a maximum torque of 380 lb-ft, but Ford promises that it still offers “a smooth idle and low-end torque for comfortable around-town driving ”

The Boss 302 is already is a highly agile animal. A path of this is owed to the fact that the vehicle is fitted with manually adjustable shock absorbers, which allow the driver to choose between five settings. Thus the vehicle can be turned in to a road or a track animal.

” We have given drivers five settings for their shocks,” says Brent Clark, supervisor of the Mustang vehicle dynamics team. “One is the softest, two is the factory setting and five is the firmest, and we’ve provided a wide range of adjustment. A customer can drive to the track on setting two, crank it up to five for improved response on the track, then dial down to one for a more relaxed ride home. What’s unique is that drivers will find – thanks to the way the suspension works as a complete system – the softest setting isn’t too loose and the firmest setting isn’t too controlled; each step just provides additional levels of control “

New York International Auto Show 2011

2012 Shelby GT500 Super Snake | The Mustang is one hot ride, regardless of its version. However, some incarnations of the pony are hotter than others and we are here now to show you one that redefines the notion of hotness. The name Shelby should be enough to tell you that we are dealing with a creature capable of delivering explosive driving thrills, but we really have to mention all the details.

OK, we’ll stop the teasing and get to the point. Shelby used the 2011 New York Auto Show to introduce its latest incarnation of the Mustang, in the form of the 2012 GT500 Super Snake package.

Under the hood, the only thing that seems to have kept its shape (well… it’s pretty close) is the displacement, as we are dealing with a 5.4-liter V8. The unit has been fitted with a supercharger, along with a long list of other goodies, with all the tweaks convincing it to deliver a whopping 800 hp.

And don’t imagine that this is a ride only destined for the long straights. Oh no! The car comes with a road connection that allows it to tackle even the most difficult corners. It uses items such as an adjustable coil over suspension, Eibach sway bars, as well as a set of 20-inch high-performance tires. The ‘Stang also comes with matching stopping power, as it uses beefy brakes that rely on Baer components.

Shelby has also fitted the car with a muscular aerodynamics package, which satisfies both form and function.
