Skoda Yeti Launching soon in India Features, Price & details

Skoda India on its way to launch the all new Skoda Yeti in Indian market.Its expected that the new Skoda Yeti will be launched at the 2010 Auto Expo.The new SKoda looks so stylish and attractive.The car designed to provide luggage space, safety and great road holding capabilities.

Skoda Yeti 1.8 TSi is powered by a 1798cc, 4 Cyls, In-Line, TSi petrol engine capable of providing a maximum power output of about 118 Bhp @ 4500 rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm @ 1500 rpm.The all new skoda yeti has a top speed of 200km/hr.The expected price of new Skoda Yeti is about 13 lakh.

Skoda Yeti comes in different variants that includes two petrol units (1.2 TSI with 102HP and 1.8 TSI with 160HP) and three diesel variants (2.0 TDI with a power output of 110, 140 and 170HP). Aside from the 1.2-liter TSI which is offered only with a front-wheel drive layout, all the other powerplants come with four-wheel drive.
About design and style, the large front grille and foglamps which looks massive gives a distinctive face to the new Skoda Yeti.Sturdy flanks and distinct wings give Yeti its robust and solid look on 17 inch wheels and the new SUV has high off-road capability.Yeti's interior is provided with greater boot space.Better finished dashboards,high seating position,balanced boot and passenger space,deep footwell are some of the interior features of the new Skoda Yeti.The rear seats can be folded and tilted right forward, and even removed to maximise cargo space to 1,760 liters.The SUV is provided with luggage cover and net as well as lashing rings are available to secure any load.
The new Skoda Yeti has excellent Excellent handling characteristics.Yetti comes with both Four-wheel-drive or front-wheel-drive options. The 4×4 variant has outstanding off-road ability and excellent traction, coupled with low emission values and fuel consumption.In four wheel drive models the rear wheels are automatically engaged when conditoins changes to wet, icy or muddy surfaces.The new Skoda Yeti has excellent ground clearance of 180.00 mm that helps in Off-road driving.
